A huge, huge thank you to everyone who came out yesterday and made our YDI Christmas Open House this year the most successful one yet!
It’s always a little bit nerve-wracking when we are setting everything up for Christmas because we want all of you to love what we’ve chosen as much as we do! We were thrilled at the Atlanta Accessories Market when we found ornaments, florals, dishes, etc. in the good red…you know what I’m talking about, that bright cherry red with no orange or burgundy in it. Last year we were a little more neutral and we wanted to kick the color up a few notches in the showroom this Christmas season and add in a touch of vintage holiday.
This is the kind of stuff that we completely nerd out for. When you put on Christmas music and start to trim the trees, how can you have anything but a great day?
We couldn’t resist doing a few totally glammed out sections though…it is us after all. People were really loving our “rustic elegance” tree this year. We took these pictures right before our doors opened and this tree looked almost empty compared to this picture by the end of the day! Beautiful white birch tree ornaments, glittery antlers, white fur trimmings and tree skirt, willow branch ornaments paired with metallic snowflakes gave this tree a rustic chic look that men, women, and children alike were drooling over on Saturday.
Speaking of drooling…the food from Brian Noel was just amazing! We have our Christmas Open House running this entire week, but if you missed out on coming to see us yesterday then you missed out on this delicious spread! Ahi tuna, mushroom bruschetta, 3 types of dessert breads, and turkey/gouda/cranberry aoili sandwiches. I’m getting hungry again just thinking about it all! And yes, you see his famous Apple Cider Sangria up in that picture as well đŸ˜‰

we brought a vanity in to the showroom for the first time this season…how cute is this little powder room set up?

Again, we hope you enjoy our Winter Wonderland as much as we love putting it all together for you! We still have a lot of the beautiful decorations/gifts in the showroom and will have them out in the showroom through the end of December but some of my favorite things are almost gone already!
