A huge thank you to all of the ladies who dug themselves out of the Jonas aftermath to come out to our Wax 101 Workshop yesterday!
Our Wax 101 Workshop was $70 and we provided everyone with all of the supplies they needed…including wine! This time, instead of pedestals or pumpkins we gave everyone several pieces of baseboard in 8″ widths so they could practice multiple waxing techniques.
We covered a couple different waxing techniques; distressing using Dark Wax, mixing your own color of wax, making Graphite darker, staining with Wax, and last but not least…gilding wax! So many people have enjoyed our Chalk Paint® 101 Workshops and we felt like sometimes the wax got hurried at the end (especially when someone gets really in to their painting technique) that we wanted to dedicate a class to only waxing techniques.
